Dear parents,
As you may already be aware, my role within Mosaic Youth is changing. Since June 2007, I have served as the director of Mosaic youth while being a part of the church staff as a leader in training, something I committed to for two years. As that time comes to a close, I'm excited to say that I will continue to serve within Mosaic Youth in a volunteer role. I've recently taken a job at the District Office which oversees the network of churches that Mosaic is a part of. In my new job, I'll be helping plan large-scale youth events that Mosaic Youth has attended (Quest, Youth Quake, DYC). This new job allows me to continue serving in Mosaic Youth. In the meantime, Mosaic is looking for a new youth director to assume the role I've had. I see this as a win/win situation, as I'm not going anywhere and the youth benefit from the love and leadership of a new youth director. You'll be hearing more information regarding the new director as church leadership prayerfully considers who that person will be.
I have so enjoyed having the privilege of sharing life with your kids and am really excited to continue to do so. I love this age group and look forward to continuing to invest my time and energy into walking alongside these youth.
